Student Occupation of ELTE, Budapest, Balogh Kata Interview

Interview with Balogh Kata. 26 Feb 2013 in Budapest, Hungary at Eötvös Lóránd University, or Eötvös Loránd Tudományegyetem. Kata explains some of the students demands, the strategy of occupation, the media response and the imperative of direct action. Images of the occupation and actions are by Fogl Photo. The students decided to occupy a main lecture hall, and to organize direct actions in response to the government’s moves to significantly reduce scholarships, and require those who receive scholarships to stay in the country.
