Elhangzott május 22-én 18,00 órakor a Ferencvárosi Pincegaléria előtt Dés Márton betiltott kiállítása miatt tartott demonstráción.

A tervezett kiállítás kurátoraként, szakmai felelőseként szeretnék a történtekhez nyilvánosan is hozzászólni. A Ferencvárosi Művelődési Központ megbízott igazgatójának álláspontját a sajtóból ismerem. Eszerint a történtekért én vagyok a felelős. Nem azért fordulok most a nyilvánossághoz, hogy az igazgatónővel vitázzak, hanem azért, mert szavai azt implikálják, hogy a kiállító művész, Dés Márton nem mond igazat. Tehát itt, a nyilvánosság előtt, kijelentem, tanúsítom, hogy Dés Márton igazat mond; a dolgok úgy történtek, ahogy ő nyilvánosságra hozta. CENZÚRA TÖRTÉNT.

2012 őszén kaptam megbízást a Ferencvárosi Pincegaléria művészeti, szakmai programjának kidolgozására és a programok megvalósítására. Ez a hetedik kiállítás. Most is minden úgy zajlott, mint eddig. A művésszel összeállítottuk a meghívó anyagát, amit múlt szerdán a Ferencvárosi Művelődési Központ munkatársainak továbbítottam. A meghívót másnap a Ferencvárosi Művelődési Központ saját címlistájára szétküldte.  Harmadnap, péntek délelőtt az igazgatónő telefonon tájékoztatott, hogy a botrányos és erkölcstelen meghívó miatt a kiállítást nem lehet megrendezni, Egy újabb levelet küldtek ki a címlistára, miszerint a kiállítás technikai okok miatt elmarad. Megítélésem szerint a meghívó és a kiállításra szánt művek sem politikai, sem vallási érdekeket, érzelmeket nem sértenek. A cenzúra nem indokolt, önkényességről, hatalom-fitogtatásról van szó. Ezért ezúton is tiltakozom az eljárás ellen, és az alkotói szabadság korlátozása ellen.

DEMOLISHED DECONSTRUCTION

The IX. District of Budapest (Ferencváros) Municipality banned Marci Dés’ exhibition titled FRESH DECONSTRUCTION – Paintings from every months of the year. The Ferencvárosi Müvelödési Központ –supporting institution of the gallery– sent out the invitations the week prior to the opening (16 May). The following day the artist was informed by the Managing Director of the institution that the poetic and visual content of the digitalized invitation is scandalous and immoral. The explanation in details: at the time of Pentecost it is highly inappropriate to disturb those who are yearning for purgation with half-naked aborigines and a poem about the days of the week (‘The seven deadly sins’) questioning the seriousness of Wednesday’s gym classes (FYI: government seriously raised the weekly number of gym classes) or mentioning Friday’s pancreatic cancer.

After the prohibition local government’s staff marched into the gallery with the aim of inspecting the paintings form a moral point of view. They informed the artist that the exhibition could still be organized a week later, with restrictions as follows: a government-friendly invitation and a decorous selection of the paintings. The same day invitees received an e-mail from the Municipality explaining the exhibition was cancelled due to technical reasons.

There will be a demonstration at the same place and the same time of the original exhibition. The artist invites anyone who finds outrageous such violation of artistic freedom and state censorship. Those who want to show understanding, solidarity and resistance or simply interest are welcome at the location: 1095 Budapest, Mester utca 5., 22 May, 6 pm.

Die Bezirksverwaltung von Ferencváros (9. Bezirk von Budapest) hat die für den 22. Mai 2013 geplante Ausstellung „Frisch ausgepackt – Gemälde aus allen Monaten” des jungen  Malers Marci Dés in der Ferencvárosi Pincegaléria kurzerhand verboten. Die von dem Kulturzentrum des Stadtbezirkes verwaltete Galerie hat am 16. Mai die Einladungen in digitaler Form verschickt, am nächsten Tag benachrichtigte jedoch die
beauftragte Direktorin der Institution den Künstler, daß der visuelle und poetische Inhalt der hier beigefügten Einladung skandalös und unmoralisch ist. Es sei ja nicht angemessen, hieß es, daß man das zu Pfingstzeit auf Läuterung erpichte Publikum mit dem Bildnis
von halbnackten Eingeborenen beunruhige sowie mit einem ironischen Gedicht über die Wochentage, wo u.a. die Wichtigkeit der Turnstunden infrage gestellt wird und ferner auch das horrende Wort Magenkrebs vorkommt. Nachher hat man die in der Galerie verwahrten Bilder inspiziert, ob sie in moralischer Hinsicht einwandfrei zu nennen sind, und dem Künstler einen neuen Antrag gestellt: Die Ausstellung könnte eine Woche später doch stattfinden unter Voraussetzung einer neuen, verwaltungskonformen Einladung sowie einer Selektion der Bilder. Am selben Tag hat man die Eingeladenen per E-Mail benachrichtigt, daß die Ausstellung „aus technischen Gründen” wegfällt.

Am 22. Mai 2013 um 18.00 Uhr, im originalen Zeitpunkt der Ausstellungseröffnung findet vor Ort (Ferencvárosi Pincegaléria, 1095 Budapest Mester utca 5) eine Demonstration statt.
Der Künstler erwartet alle, die gegen Verletzung der künstlerischen Freiheit und gegen die Zensurierung der Kunst Protest erheben wollen.
